Transforming Lives
Since our modest beginnings, we have remained committed to our core mission of providing hope, assistance, and care to families facing adversity.
Steadfast Focus and a Heart for South Florida
The story of CityHouse is truly heartwarming and inspiring. It all began with a few selfless families who opened up their homes and hearts to provide a temporary shelter for children in need through the Safe Families program. This program not only helped in diverting children from being placed in the child welfare system but also sparked a desire to do something more for their mothers.
In 2014, CityHouse was established with a clear vision of providing long-term and transformational assistance to both mothers and their children. Unlike other organizations that focus only on children, CityHouse recognizes the importance of the family unit. By empowering single mothers with the necessary skills and resources, CityHouse assists them in developing a healthy lifestyle, providing sustainable, loving, and proper care to their children. It is amazing to see how one act of kindness can truly ignite a chain reaction of positivity and change.
